Trojan super strength copper alloy for high performance engineering
Columbia Metals report that by strict manufacturing control, it has been possible to achieve exceptional mechanical properties (UTS>800N/mm2) from copper nickel silicon alloy while maintaining recognised thermal, electrical and other physical attributes such as extremely low magnetic permeability.
Trojan is believed to be especially attractive for plastics moulding tools and mould inserts, die casting plunger tips, resistance welding components, electrical/electronic connectors,high performance engine valve guides, bearing bushes and many other high duty engineering applications.
Trojan is stocked exclusively by Columbia Metals in Round Rod from 1Ž8-4in. (3-100mm)diameter.
