Vin Callcut, director,will be retiring at the end of March after 47 years working with copper, the last 19 of which were with CDA. Pending the appointment of a successor, Mrs Angela Vessey will be acting manager. Mr Pierre Neatby continues as chairman and acting managing director.

Mrs Sue Wainwright,information manager, has left Copper Development Association after 13 years'service to pursue a career in information technology. To improve CDA's marketing abilities, the information department is being re-formed with a more proactive role. This will be integrated with the projects being carried out that are funded by the European Copper Institute and the co-funding of members.
