Joseph Ash Galvanizing Hereford reports that it is celebrating ten years in the fast lane with Morgan, manufacturer of the famous and sought-after sports cars (Plate 2).

For more than a decade, the Herefordshire-based coatings specialist has supplied an average of 40 galvanized chassis each month to Morgan's small but famous production centre at Malvern Link, Worcestershire, where all the vehicles are hand-made.

The Morgan is exported all over the world, particularly into Europe where Germany now buys more cars than the USA from the UK-owned company, which produces 500 specialist cars a year worth around £15,000,000 at showroom prices.

Mr Peter Morgan, director of Morgan Cars, said: "A combination of the long traditions of hand-built perfection, personified by Morgan over the years, and the longevity provided by a high quality galvanized chassis, adds even further to the marque's appeal to its myriad loyal owners".
