Spring and ball plunger range extended

Jergens Inc. reports that it has extended its line of spring and ball plungers. It now offers spring and ball plungers in both metric and inch configurations, in a variety of styles and materials. Spring plungers are available in steel or stainless steel with Delrin or steel tips. Sizes are from M4 to M20.

Ball plungers are available in low carbon steel with stainless ball and spring from M4 to M12.

All Jergens metric spring plungers feature a solid drive design, i.e. the body is one piece of steel. User advantages claimed include having no set screws to separate. Solid drive single unit construction reportedly prevents separation during adjustment or removal.

Spring and ball plungers are used in a variety of locating and tight force holding applications, including fixturing and OEM tasks.
