The Corrosion Institute of Southern Africa is actively promoting research into corrosion and corrosion control in South African universities and technikons. To this end, awards are made to outstanding post-graduate/diplomate students who undertake research in the field of corrosion control. The field of study should cover any aspect of corrosion or corrosion control at any South African university or technikon. Students who feel they qualify should submit an application, including a CV and details of their research project, to the Institute secretary at Science Park, Northway, Kelvin, South Africa.
