This year, we are informed, sees a new phase in the evolution of speciality chemicals supplier McGean-Rohco, with the announcement of a new corporate identity. The company considers that the introduction of the new logo reflects its standards for innovation, timely service and technical expertise.

Commenting on this change, company president Dickson L. Whitney Jr stated,"Our new logo will promote and instill recognition, pride and brand awareness for the products we manufacture and the services we offer globally".

Here in the UK, McGean celebrated its 25 year anniversary in 1999, and is proud of its history in the West Midlands. The first UK site was established July 1974 in Watery Lane, Wolverhampton. To support continued growth, in 1990 it moved into a purpose built 21,000 sq. ft unit in Qualcast Road, which remains its present site.

This building incorporates administration offices, with dedicated manufacturing and laboratory facilities. The extensive range of chemical products serves the aviation, engineering, electroplating and general metal finishing markets.
