The ATOFINA subsidiary Ato Findley and the company Premier have developed a spray-on seam sealant for metal surfaces.
Marketed by Premier under the trade name Kentpro, this Pro Seal 202 sealant is said to be designed for car bodywork repairs. Formulated by Ato Findley from a polyether with silyl terminal, the product claims outstanding application properties, it reportedly requires little pre-treatment and produces a flawless film on application, ready for immediate painting.
According to Elf Atochem, with its controlled flow, the sealant is easy to apply and it offers outstanding compatibility with other bodywork treatment products. The company also informs us that it can be stored for up to 12 months without decay,
