Wet abrasive blasting specialist, USF Abrasive Developments, part of the global USF Surface Preparation Group, is increasing its penetration into the North American surface treatment market by establishing a string of regional machine demonstration, sales and technical support centres across the USA and Canada.

Five centres – in Charlotte, North Carolina; Fortville, Indiana; Rancho Dominguez (Los Angeles) and San Lorenzo (Oakland), California; and Kent,Washington – are now operational and others will follow during 2001. The company has also appointed two product specialists to head the Abrasive Developments North American sales team: Bob Hancock and Brian Popovitz, both of whom are highly experienced in the application of wet blasting technology.
