Shipley has appointed Chris Milton (Plate 2) as business director of its Electronic and Industrial Finishing (EIF) division in Europe. Chris's task is to manage the newly created division and to foster business growth in new process technologies from the company.

"Shipley created the EIF division last year to bring together complementary processes from the electronic and industrial sectors, allowing all our customers to benefit more easily from the development of new technologies",explains Chris.

Chris has been at Shipley for four years, as European marketing manager and more recently as European business solutions manager. Previously he held marketing and general management roles at Hoechst AG in the UK and Germany. His wide experience, including work with the PCB, semiconductor and plastics industries, is ideal for his new EIF role. Chris has a first class honours degree in modern languages from Oxford University and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. He speaks French and German.
