The coating division of Wier Engineering Services, based at Heysham near Lancaster, UK, has recently relined a major cooling water pump for a nuclear power-station using Winn & Coales' Archco-Rigidon 423D and 523D. It is the latest refurbishment project carried out by Wier Coatings Division for several nuclear and conventional power-stations using the Archco-Rigidon range of glass flake vinyl ester coatings.
The company is involved in relining and other refurbishment work on all types of liquid-handling equipment and tanks for a wide range of customers including Severn Trent Water Authority.
