As part of its on-going development programme, Fosroc has introduced three new generation self-adhesive waterproof membrane products– Proofex 3000, Proofex 3000MR and Proofex 4000R.
Proofex 3000 has been designed for waterproofing basement grades 2, 3 and 4 as defined in BS8102: 1990, sub-structures, foundations and buried roofs to provide a high level of protection against groundwater, soluble sulphates and chlorides.
Its sister product Proofex 3000MR can also be used in the same applications, with the added advantage of being Methane and Radon resistant.
Proofex 4000R is a high performance membrane which has been reinforced to provide a robust solution for more demanding projects.
Other advantages shared by all three of the new membranes include cross-laminated HDPE film to ensure improved damage resistance and dimensional stability plus a combination of toughness and flexibility for detailing around corners. A peelable selvedge also enables clean dry edge laps.
