BASF joins National Frame Builders Association

BASF, Southfield, Mich., a major supplier of coil coatings for the construction industry, has announced its membership in the National Frame Builders Association, a trade association dedicated to promoting the benefits of post-frame buildings.

Post-frame construction is based on a strong and structurally efficient system that offers significant advantages over conventional steel- and masonry-based construction systems. Originally designed primarily for agricultural applications – what many people still think of as “pole barns” – modern post-frame construction is used for industrial buildings and factories, office buildings, commercial complexes, churches, schools and homes.

More information about the National Frame Builders Association is available on the web site at: www.nfba.org/. Information about BASF and its coil-coating products can be found at: www.ultra-cool.basf.com/ and www.basf.com/industrialcoatings.
