Rohm and Haas powder coatings launches new brand/new portfolio

Rohm and Haas Powder Coatings, a business of the Rohm and Haas Group, has announced the launch of its new brand, REALCOAT™ that will be used for the promotion of powder coatings in the architectural and industrial markets in Europe. REALCOAT will unify under a single brand the products developed as a result of the acquisition of Morton-Pulverlac in 1999 and Ferro Powder Coatings in 2002.

Other brands will still be used, such as Vedoc™ that will be dedicated to the automotive market or other well-known specialty brands like Mor-Temp™ a range of high temperature resistant products or Lamineere for wood coating. Overall, the new branding system will clarify the product offerings for powder coatings customers.

Rohm and Haas Powder Coatings has also announced the launch of Claymoree its European portfolio of powder coatings for the architectural and industrial markets. The first three collections of the Claymore portfolio are available and ready to ship.

The collections include two ranges of metallic and special-effect products called The Architects' Collection for the architectural market and emotions collection for decorative applications and interior design. The third collection is a range of RAL polyester products in gloss, semi-gloss and matt finish for architectural markets. Most of these powders will be promoted under REALCOATe the new brand name that the company is launching simultaneously.
