WE have previously alluded in these columns to the creation of what in effect is a new sub‐industry to the aircraft industry—that is, the manufacture of safety glass. Safety glass is being used to an increasing extent upon aircraft, although, of course, it is idle to pretend that the demand from the air industry can ever hope to compete with that from the automobile industry.
