Data Bus Interconnection System

A range of high‐integrity data bus connectors developed by Amphenol, are now available from Barlec‐Richfield. Designated the 711 Series, the products have been developed for high speed transmission systems as defined in MIL‐STD‐1553B and DEF‐STAN 0018. Ideal in aerospace applications, data bus connectors, used in place of conventional wiring, can it is stated, reduce the weight by 50% and the volume by 30%. The modular design allows for easy upgrading.
