Laser Instrumentation Ltd announce their new 1.5 kW Laser Power Meter. Designated the model 18/5105, this new power meter features a compact water cooled heatsink with a fast response thermopile and a 50 mm (2”) diameter target. The target surface is capable of accepting 1 kW per sq cm power density with calibration accuracy of ±5%. The display unit has a large moving coil meter readout with six measurement ranges covering 0–10 W to 0–3 kW. The complete measurement system features a one second response time and is supplied housed in a polished wooden carry/storage case.
