Messier‐Bugatti and its American partner BF Goodrich have developed two innovative brakes for Airbus A330 and A340 jetliners, designed to help cut maintenance costs. The brake for short‐ and medium‐haul operations offers a design life of 25,000 (take‐off/landing) cycles and the brake for long‐haul operations, 15,000 cycles.
