The Future of the Industry: The Danger of Neglecting the Civil Side

THE Aircraft Industry is enjoying a period of activity such as it has not known for eighteen years. This is, we believe, true not only in England, but in every country of the world. Temporarily, at any rate, all the leading Powers have decided no longer to put their trust in pacts and treaties, conferences and meetings, but to preserve peace—in the language of the politician—by preparing for war.
