Managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa

Eduardo Moraes has been appointed managing director of the Europe, Middle East, Africa region of Forsheda Polymer Engineering Group (Plate 13).

A Brazilian national,Eduardo holds an engineering degree from the Mackenzie University of São Paulo, a BSc in business administration, finance and marketing from the Fundacão Getulio Vargas and also a masters degree in marketing. He began his career with SKF in Brazil before moving first to Laboratorios Braun and then Microlite,serving as marketing director in both cases.

In 1990 Eduardo joined specialist engineer TI Group plc as general manager of its John Crane Brazil business, subsequently serving in senior positions with various parts of the group in South America and most recently as president of Bundy, Latin America.
