Indentec has extended the warranty on Rockwell and Vickers hardness-testing machines to three years.

Under the scheme, a two-year extension to the existing one-year warranty comes into effect after the first year, when the user signs the usual calibration and service contract.

The extended warranty continues to provide parts and labour cover for all non-consumable items in mechanical, electrical, electronic, optical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. In the company's advanced microprocessor-controlled touchscreen models as many as 1,000 parts are now protected by warranty.
