Freedom Series ATE system for Nimrod

Smiths Industries has chosen Racal Instruments' Freedom Series VXlbus ATE systems, extending the use of Racal's test equipment from the Apache Longbow to the Nimrod programme. This latest contract win brings the total value of orders,placed by Display and Control Systems division of Smiths Industries Aerospace with Racal, across both programmes, to over £1.8 million (US$2,700,000).
