Former Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael Knight has been appointed chairman of Cranfield Aerospace Ltd (CAe) and will oversee the company's development of new products and services for the global aerospace industry.
"We're delighted to welcome Sir Michael as our new chairman. He has a tremendous reputation in the industry and will be a great asset to us as we drive our business forward", commented David Gardner, managing director.
Currently chairman of Cobham plc and president of the Air League, Sir Michael's background is well suited to assist CAe as the company increases its market penetration in the specialist aerospace engineering sector.
