David Barrington has been appointed quality manager for Brookhouse Composites Ltd, of Darwen, a company within Brookhouse Holdings, one of the UK's largest,independent composites manufacturing and assembly organisations. In his new position, David will be responsible for operating the existing stringent quality systems and for developing the company's quality management philosophy for the aerospace industry.

David's remit extends from managing quality audits, both within Brookhouse and for external suppliers, to ensuring compliance with the quality standards of the leading aerospace companies and the UK defence organisations, as well as third party organisations such as the Civil Aviation Authority.

Before joining Brookhouse, David was with A.M. Castle Ltd, of Blackburn,where he was group quality manager for the UK. He has over 25 years experience in all aspects of quality management in the aerospace industry.
