Aerosystems International reports that it has expanded into a prestigious new UK office, Turing House on the Enigma Business Park in Malvern. The building was officially opened by Sir John Chisholm MA FREng, chief executive officer of DERA.
The premises have replaced two houses that were used as offices by Ael, a company that develops smart technology for the aerospace industry. It allows not only the relocation of existing staff to a purpose-built facility, but also the opportunity to create more jobs in the area by expanding the Malvern team.
The new facility holds up to 60 staff. On the ground floor there is a well-furnished rig room that can cater for all forms of software-intensive systems and associated rigs, and there is also an impressive Vehicle Systems Integration Lab facility, for the mobile capability.
Aerosystems International also informs us that it is participating with the Boeing Company as a member of the Boeing Joint Strike Fighter "One Team"to develop a maintenance and logistics support solution for the JSF.
The One Team's approach draws heavily on Aerosystems' first-class capabilities, which have contributed, to innovative systems in service with an international customer base supporting transport aircraft, fast jets, attack helicopters and maritime patrol aircraft.
