Synstar plc has recently been awarded a three-year contract from Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). The £6 million contract requires Synstar to provide additional hardware support to one of CSC's major UK clients: BAe Systems, the global systems, defence and aerospace company.
Synstar, the European business availability and IT services provider, has taken over from a range of contractors who have provided support for a number of mid-range and desktop systems. Instead Synstar will provide substantial additional on-site and field service engineering resource to support the entire IT hardware requirements of BAE Systems in 19 UK locations.
