Portum propels procurement into outer space

The European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), Europe's largest aerospace corporation, has moved its supplier negotiations and agreements online.

The company has joined forces with Portum, a European e-procurement solution provider. Under the terms of the agreement, Portum will provide EADS with an e-procurement platform and RFQ (Request For Quotation) engine. This will ensure time efficiencies and savings on all costs from stationery to key aerospace technology.
