Wood Group Power's Aero Propulsion business has opened a new regional turbine facility at the North Bay Aerospace Center in Ontario, Canada to provide full maintenance support for local operators of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 turboprop engines, used on military, commercial and corporate aircraft.

Located northwest of Toronto, the new facility offers operators fly-in,drive-in and ship-in service for their PT6 engines. It is also equipped to repair the engines' hot section components, with capabilities including welding,machining and modern precision balancing.
