Because of its' mobility, a Kestrel can cope with a single machine as well as multi- machine installations for busy production environments. Operation is automatic on a 24h, 7 day week basis without the need for monitoring. Overnight operation can take advantage of off-line time, without interrupting production schedules.
Manufactured from stainless steel, the unit is stated to be virtually damage-proof. It is claimed to be effective for the removal of tramp oil as well as particulate matter resulting from any machining operation. There are no filters to clog, blind or replace, and the automatic self-cleaning process is said to simply require weekly connection to an airline for five minutes duration only. There are no parts that require routine maintenance or repair, while the pump reportedly needs negligible service attention and can be completely rebuilt within 20 minutes.
