Designer to update Hercules on inventor
Marshall Aerospace has selected micro- concepts to provide autodesk inventor professional following a benchmark study of the solution and other products. The aerospace design company, which also uses Productstream, Vault and AutoCAD mechanical software from Autodesk, is to use Inventor's parametric 3D modelling on new designs for the tristar minimum military requirement (MMR) programme.
The installation follows Marshall Aerospace's opening of its aircraft design office in Leiden, NL, to support and expand the design capabilities of its Cambridge facility. The Marshall Aerospace Netherlands Design Office will provide technical support to customers across the aerospace business, as well as to the Royal Netherlands Air Force with whom Marshall Aerospace currently works to upgrade and modernise its fleet.
