AIRCRAFT designers and operators were, lately, given an opportunity of inspecting and testing the flying qualities of the first American transport machine to be seen on this side of the Atlantic. This was the Ford Trimotor all‐metal monoplane, to which attention was called in Major Mayo's article in our Aero Exhibition Critique number.
