Notes on the de Havilland Goblin Jet Engine Available to Purchase

CONTINUING our series of descriptive articles on the leading jet‐propulsion units, we deal this month with the de Havilland‐Halford Goblin. In the case of the articles on the German engines we published very full reports, since no detailed description had appeared previously in this country. However, in the case of British engines we propose to deal differently with the subject, since detailed descriptions have appeared generally in the technical Press, and the present notes are published in order to continue a historical record of jet engine design as it is today.
