THE Blackburn “Sydney,” the largest military monoplane flying boat built in England is designed to carry out the same duties as the well‐known “Iris” type, namely Reconnaissance and Coastal Patrol, either independently or in co‐operation with seacraft, and is arranged to carry a similar crew and military load.
