A New Ship‐Plane Formula: Preliminary details of one of the first post‐war French military aircraft to be completed, the Société Nationale de Constructions d'Aéronautiques du Centre NC‐1070

AT the last Paris Salon the primary interest of the French Government in naval aircraft was apparent in the showing of the Nord 1500 Noréclair and a model of the Aerocentre NC‐1070. Before the war the French had no very great interest in naval aviation, they had only one aircraft carrier, the Béarn, and a certain number of flying boats. Now, however, the first post‐war military types to be developed are for the marine services, in particular torpedo/dive bombers and fighters.
