Volumes 1 and 2 of this Handbook, containing Sections 1 to 5 inclusive, were reviewed recently in these columns (AIRCRAFT ENGINEERING, May 1952). The present review is concerned with one of four sections which will in due course make up Volume 4, and which deals with supersonic flutter investigations: it may be noted that flutter is the only aeroelastic phenomenon treated.
