In this present age of specialization it is pleasant to have collected together in one very readable book contributions on very different aspects of the approach problem, by all the specialists concerned. In this book there is shown something of the difficulties of the aerodrome lighting engineers, the radio and electronic specialists, the medical specialists, meteorologists and aerodynamicists—all have their say—and in some cases the difficulties which one is up against in improving a particular aid beyond a certain point are indicated.
