This is another of the growing series of text‐books on gas turbines. The earliest of these were based mainly upon information and experience gained from the rapid development of aircraft turbines, but the application of this power plant to land and marine requirements has also gone on apace since the end of the war, and more and more mechanical engineers outside the specialized aeronautical field are seeking information. For these latter, the present book should be most valuable.
