Testing Airborne Electrical Equipment: New Facilities of the Aircraft Electrical Equipment Division of the English Electric Co. Ltd. at Bradford

SPECIAL facilities, some of which are illustrated here, have been installed at the Bradford works of English Electric's Aircraft Equipment Division for the development and production testing of aircraft electrics. Work is concentrated on the development of the constant frequency a.c. supply based on the English‐Electric Sundstrand constant‐speed drive although there is still some work on d.c. machines.
