New Materials Available to Purchase

Ceramic magnetic materials, known as ferrites, have been developed by Boeing. The magnetic field can be induced at the same time as the material is formed under heat and pressure. The resulting magnets have two to three times the magnetic strength of iron, on a weight basis.
