The current issue of Combustion and Flame contains five papers which will interest aircraft propulsion specialists. They have in common that they are all American and that they are all rather difficult to digest. Two are concerned with air‐breathing combustion, two with solid propellent rockets, and one with liquid propellent rocket motors.
