New Materials

The MSR (Magnesium‐Silver‐Rare Earth) alloys are primarily high‐strength materials having proof stress values directly comparable with strong aluminium alloys which are 50 per cent heavier. They retain their properties well at elevated temperatures and up to about 250 deg. C. are stronger than other magnesium casting alloys.
