ON July 24, the Marcel Dassault Balzac 001 V.T.O.L. aircraft was rolled out at Melun‐Villaroche and initial engine running tests have already begun. Tethered flying tests will be carried out in a gantry followed by free flight trials to prove the critical transition phase.
