Details of Some Components Used for Subsidiary Services in Aircraft, Missiles and Space Vehicles. A new swivel pipe coupling has been developed by Dowty Rotol Ltd., Staverton, Glos. It can accommodate a geometry too acute for flexible hydraulic couplings, takes up less space, and offers a reduced fire hazard. Initial applications will be in the aircraft field, particularly undercarriages, but other applications, perhaps in the industrial field, are envisaged.
