Details of Some Components Used for Subsidiary Services in Aircraft, Missiles and Space Vehicles. The two basic pre‐requisites for ground crews working in the vicinity of aircraft with engines running are, firstly, linking up with the aircraft intercom system and secondly, the safety and health of the ground operator. With the high noise levels of aircraft now coming into service, protection of the cars alone is no longer sufficient and M. L. Aviation Co. Ltd. have therefore developed a one‐piece helmet incorporating head and face protection with intercom.
