Ground Handling and Maintenance: Background to the Features Incorporated to Minimize Turnround Times with a Description of Replenishment Points and Controls and Maintenance Aspects

TO achieve high utilization during intensive operation over short‐ or medium‐haul route networks, aircraft turnround times must be kept as low as possible. With this requirement in mind, many features have been built into the Trident to facilitate ground handling and to reduce the time spent on the ground at intermediate stops.
