Now in its fifty‐sixth year, Jane's has yet again increased its coverage of the aerospace field. This year there is more text matter than in any previous edition, with a total of 533 pages of editorial matter and a 25‐page index covering the last ten editions. There are about 1,200 illustrations, of which some 650 are new this year. In spite of this, and the upward spiral in production costs, the price remains unchanged.
