★SURA ROCKET TRIALS. A most successful trial installation and firing demonstration of the Hispano Suiza Sura rocket projectile was carried out recently using a production British Aircraft Corporation Jet Provost T.Mk.52. The installation comprised twenty‐four rockets in a four‐tier stowage arrangement. For the demonstration, a mixed load of inert exercise, high explosive and hollow charge heads was used against a Churchill tank target (21 ft. long, 6 ft. high). A Type GM2 fixed reflector sight was used and commendably accurate results are said to have been obtained despite turbulent weather conditions.
