OWING to a combination of circumstances, which started with the departure from the gold standard last October and continued with the recent introduction of a policy of tariffs, certain industries in Great Britain are undoubtedly showing definite signs of an improvement in trade, the benefits of which will certainly spread, with the assistance to be expected from the results of the Ottawa Conference, to others, and sooner or later benefit all British, and World, trade, including the aircraft industry.
