The Minister of Aviation Supply, Mr F. G. Corfield, with the agreement of the Prime Minister, has appointed Mr J. A. Hamilton, M.B.E., to be a Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Aviation Supply. He succeeds Mr F. J. Doggett, C.B., who retired on 7 January 1971. Mr Hamilton was previously Director‐General Concorde. Mr T. P. Jones, previously an Assistant Secretary in the Concorde Division of the Ministry of Aviation Supply, has been appointed Under Secretary and is to succeed Mr Hamilton as Director‐General of the Concorde project.
