The main electrical power is supplied by two three‐phase constant frequency a.c. generators mounted on the engines. A third identical generator is driven by the APU, and can supply power both in flight to replace a failed engine‐driven generator and on the ground. Supply frequency is 400 cps and voltage is 115/200 volts a.c.
