IN WRITING about avionic equipment for the aircraft of the future it is possible to follow obvious extensions of current technology with confidence gradually diminishing as the forecast is advanced. When this confidence has reduced to a level where anything further would be unsupported guesswork the writer may stop. The future beyond is too uncertain to merit discussion.
